HUNTSVILLE WOMAN SENTENCED FOR BANK ROBBERIESBIRMINGHAM, AL - ANGELINA STINNETT, 35, of Huntsville, Alabama, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court to 70 months in federal prison. She was indicted in September 2006, and pled guilty to the three counts of bank robbery earlier this year. Stinnett was charged with the robbery of Compass Bank in Madison County on July 14, 2006; AmSouth Bank in Madison County on July 26, 2006; and the robbery of Peoples Bank in Jefferson County on September 6, 2006. Stinnett was ordered to pay restitution collectively to the banks in the amount of $9,211.00. "Robbing a bank is a violent crime that rarely results in good fortune for the robber," stated Alice H. Martin. "Instead, the prosecution is sure and swift, and the penalty is severe." Stinnett has been in federal custody since her arrest by Gardendale Police Officers on September 6, 2006. Other agencies investigating this Stinnett robberies include the Huntsville Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. "Bank robbery
