FBI ANNOUNCES THE ARREST OF TUSCALOOSA FUGITIVE

Tuscaloosa - Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Carmen S. Adams announced the arrest of one of Tuscaloosa County's Most Wanted Fugitives. Leavert Kendrell McKinney, age 25, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama was arrested last night at 7:00p.m. without incident at the Greyhound Bus station in Tuscaloosa by Agents of the FBI's Tuscaloosa Resident Agency and Officers of the Tuscaloosa Police Department. McKinney was wanted for Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution (UFAP), kidnaping, intimidating a witness, failure to appear, burglary and domestic violence. Subsequent to the arrest, McKinney was transported to the Tuscaloosa County Metro Jail.

SAC Adams thanked the Tuscaloosa Police Department and the Detroit FBI Fugitive Squad for their invaluable assistance in this case.
