FBI SEEKS INFORMATION ON CHEAHA BANK ROBBERY

Birmingham, AL - Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Carmen S. Adams announced that

The Cheaha Bank, 120 Big Valley Drive, Alexandria, Alabama was robbed by two masked, unknown subjects (UNSUBS) at approximately 9:14 a.m. today. Both UNSUBS were armed with handguns. A surveillance photo from the bank showing the UNSUBS is attached.

Following the robbery the UNSUBS fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash, headed westbound on Highway 144 in a 1989 red Buick Century. A photograph of the vehicle is attached. The Buick was recovered at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Arrowhead Drive West in Alexandria. The UNSUBS dumped the Buick Century and switched to an unknown vehicle. No one was injured during the robbery.

Both UNSUBS are described as male and both approximately 6’2” to 6’4”. Race is unknown at this time.
