FBI AND ALBERTVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT
SEEK PUBLIC ASSISTANCE IN KIDNAPPING

Birmingham - Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Carmen S. Adams and Albertville Police Chief Benny Womack announced today that sometime around 6:00 a.m. this morning, Shalinda Glass, and her two children pulled into the Conoco gas station located at the intersection of Baltimore Avenue and Conway Street in Albertville. Ms. Glass was driving a 1994 aqua blue, possibly green Nissan Altima. Ms. Glass went inside with one child and left the five year old inside the vehicle. An older model blue pick up truck pulled into the gas station. A black male got out of the truck and into the Nissan Altima. The Altima was last seen traveling south bound on Baltimore Avenue.

The subject is described as a black male, approximately 5'9-5'11," weighing approximately 200-225 pounds. The subject was wearing a baseball hat and blue jacket. The child, Geontae Glass is five years old, a black male, approximately 3'0 tall and weighing approximately 65 pounds. Glass was wearing blue jeans and a long sleeved blue t-shirt style pull over top.

An Amber Alert has also been issued for Geontae Glass.
